Canada’s most award winning winery, Magnotta Winery launches” The gift that gives twice”!

If we may say so ourselves, we had an absolutely fabulous show this week! Why you ask? The reason is because joining us in studio a dynamic woman, one of great passion for the world of wine, people and business. Rossana Magnotta the dynamic CEO and founder of Magnotta Winery joined us.

Magnotta Winery founded in 1990 by Rossana and Gabe Magnotta is considered Canada’s most award winning winery with over 3000 awards to date. In less than 15 years Magnotta has become Ontario’s third largest winery in volume of sales. With over 180 acres of vineyards in the Niagara Peninsula this winery also has a microbrewery and distillery as well.

Rossana’s most recent accomplishment is to launch “The Gift that gives Twice” in support of Lyme Disease and Colorectal Cancer. This two bottle gift pack sold at all seven (7) Magnotta locations consist of a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon and a bottle of Chardonnay packaged in a beautifully appointed package. Sold for just under $30.00 this gift will delight the receiver and at the same time a portion of the sales go towards these two important health causes, hence the name “The Gift that gives Twice”.

Rossana explained that she wanted to identify and area where she knew that her fundraising efforts could make a difference. “These two causes are near and dear to my heart and I know that with these funds and with pre-screening and building awareness with the public we can prevent these health issues and many people can be saved”.

In Canada, people do not realize that the Lyme tick is out there everywhere and everyone is vulnerable; from the gardener, the dog walker, the hunter, the camper and even the child in the playground.
