Have u ever tried pizza Turkish style? Turkish pizza is made boat-shaped, thin-crusted with healthy toppings such as; marinated meats, sautéed, and oven-roasted veggies. Today I tried the Meat Lovers triple-threat pizza! Great way to spend an afternoon with owner and operator Yesim Erkus of Pizza Boat, a woman entrepreneur, and mega force!! What is Turkish Pizza?

Turkish Pizza.

One of Pizza Boat’s faves is the “Meat Lovers” Turkish Pizza which features three in one and includes a tasting of steak cubes and cheese, Turkish Pepperoni (sucuk ), and pulled beef, mixed with mushroom, potatoes, and cheese.

Lahmacun or Lahmajo is a flatbread topped with minced meat, minced vegetables, and herbs including onions, garlic, tomatoes, red peppers, and parsley, flavored with spices such as chili pepper and paprika, then baked.

We had the immense pleasure of meeting him in 2010 on the red carpet at the 30th annual Genie Awards.

We wires pleased to hear that he was true wine lover!

With less than two months to get ready for Juno Cup, presented by The Keg Steakhouse & Bar, Canada’s fearless musicians traded in their microphones for hockey sticks and sized up the competition.

Some of the NHL’s greatest players during the first-ever training camp that was held at the Ricoh Coliseum.

We were thrilled to be invited to witness some practice drills last week. The 8th annual Juno Cup will be held On Friday, March 25th where proceeds benefit MusiCounts for music programs across Canada.

Additional players for The Rockers and NHL Greats will be announced soon.
