For a different and unique date experience, sign up for a cooking class and enjoy a relaxing, fun and informative evening while cooking together before sitting down to a delicious meal.

Great Cooks on Eight is Toronto’s leading Culinary Center and one of the largest in Canada. Housed on the eighth floor of the Bay Queen Street, it is equipped with a state-of-the-art kitchen studio able to accommodate groups of up to 100. Great Cooks on Eight offers: an informative and interesting array of both demonstration and hands on cooking classes by celebrity and resident chefs; casual dining in a stylish, modern and warm environment; great gourmet food for take out and exclusive blended teas available for retail and afternoon tea. Enjoy the warm atmosphere while taking in the magnificent view of both old and new city halls.

A cooking evening starts at 6:00 p.m. with a welcoming hors d’oeuvre and beverage. Then we get into the cooking of a wonderful 4-course meal. Teams prepare the dishes with chefs by their side to provide instruction and numerous cooking tips. Dinner is then served with an accompanying glass of wine.
