My wine pick today comes from one of the regions included in the “Pacific Northwest, that is Washington The second largest wine producer in the US after California.

This wine was just recently released into our market, our Vintages stores, it sells for $19.95 and we all really loved it We served it at our Thanksgiving dinner, everyone loved it.It was unanimous!And here it is. The Columbia Crest Winery’s H3 Horse Heaven Hills 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon.

This wine comes from the Columbia Valley AVA of Horse Heaven Hills, with Cabernet Sauvignon being one of the primary grape varieties grown here.The wine was full bodied, at 14.5% alcohol, it was rich and smooth, with good bright fruit, blackberries and cherry and hints of coffee and chocolate. On my “to buy again list!” for sure.
