Coming up on this week’s show, a wine producing country that is just slightly outside the mainstream, but is garnering lots of attention and accolades from many experts and wine lovers around the world. The wines definitely have their own unique character, with grapevines  having been cultivated in the same viticultural regions for 1000’s of years. To help us explore, sip and savour these wonderful Austrian wines, as well as enjoy a taste of typical Austrian fare we are joined today by four guests. Starting off with the vino, with over 30 years experience in wine, he is an author of 3 books, a wine consultant and the host of his new television show “Two in the Vineyard <a href=”http://www.chuckbyers.com” title=”Chuck Byers”>Chuck Byers</a>. As well as Sandie Kraft, having done her fair share of wine travels and writing, Sandie lends her perspective to “Two in the Vineyard co-hosting with Chuck.

 

And to help showcase the wonders of Austrian wines, we are so pleased to welcome, from Reither’s Fine Food International, the fabulous gourmet deli with fresh seafood, meats and specialized items from all over the globe, the proprietor Peter Reither.
