Ribera Del Duero
Have you tried Spanish wines recently? Yesterday we enjoyed a beautiful media tasting and luncheon featuring the wines of Ribera Del Duero, a wine region in Spain and located in the country’s northern plateau.
We tasted 14 wines featuring the grape varietals of Tinta del Pais, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo.
All the wines here are available at the LCBO or through a wine agent here in Ontario.
Awesome food wines.
Speaking of food, it was amazing! Have you been to La Palma on Dundas street in Toronto? Definitely worth the visit. Shared plates. La Palma Toronto
Tasting was spearheaded by reknowned award winning sommelier Véronique Rivest
Winemaking here goes back over 2700 years, as evidenced a pottery piece names krathos founded in Pintia, which has tartrate over its inner part.
