Celebrity Chef Massimo Capra creates a couple of magnificent dishes at his celebrated restaurant Mistura including his signature dish Wild Boar Agnolatti with stewed dry cherries as well as Carpaccio with a touch of black diamonds… or black truffles. Hmm hmm delish!

Enjoying a little vino with tenor opera sensation Emilio Fina after a fantastic performance at award winning restaurant Mistura. O Sole Mio is the debut album from Emilio Fina, the classically trained tenor who won the hearts of viewers on City TV’s Canada’s Got Talent. On this record, Fina sings a mix of Neapolitan songs, opera arias and Broadway hits.

In our glasses, an Italian wine from the south of Italy, sometimes referred to as the “Barolo of the South”, wines made from the Aglianico grape variety. Great fruit with notes of dark cherries and plum, seductive and with staying power… just like the incredible stunning high notes Emilio hits with power and longevity! Amazing lungs to be sure!

The Wine Ladies visit a chicken farm, Weston Farms to get the scoop on the most coveted delicacy black truffles or “black diamonds” as they are called are paired up with Rock Hen eggs. Adam Angilletta owner of Weston Farms and of Sulpizio Tartufi, manufacturer and importer of exclusive range of black and white truffle products shares his expertise and his fresh picked eggs. The truffled eggs paired to perfection with award winning Huff Estates Winery 2007 VQA PEC Cuvee Peter E. Huff sparkling from Prince Edward County.
