Trapiche Sparkling Brut

Sparkling winine made from  Chardonnay (70%), Semillon (20%) & Malbec (10%)Intense greenish-yellow color. Typical Chardonnay aromas of apples and pineapples combined with those resulting from the contact with the lees, such as toasted bread. It presents high volume in the mouth from Semillon and the touch of Malbec.Ideal as an aperitif or combined with raw fish. Serve also with desserts and fresh fruit. Available at the LCBO for $11.95. Trapiche Broquel Malbec

100 % Malbec from over 25 year-old vineyards selected from altitudes between the 900 and 1200 meters above sea level.Intense purple red color with ruby hues. Aromas of black fruit jam and liqueur, with an elegant touch of smoke, vanilla and chocolate. Sweet attack and full-bodied tannins. Long and pleasant finish.Ideal to combine with pasta and mushroom sauce, grilled red meats, stews and cheeses. The Malbec Jorge Miralles will be available on the Oct 26^th release in Vintages for a price point of $39.95.

VIÑA JORGE MIRALLES 2008

A very secial wine  with only 2000 cases spread over 80 countries worldwide. A Malbec of deep red color with black tones, revealing sweet aromas of fresh stone fruits such as plums and cherries, and forest berries such as blackberries and raspberries. Notes of toasted bread, white chocolate, café latte, coconut, butterscotch and raisins stand out. Sweet as it enters the mouth, with notes of vanilla, toast and mocha. Long finish with round, very soft and concentrated tannins.Ideal to serve with dishes prepared with red meats and game cooked in a plow disc, hard cheeses and smoked cold cuts.
