I am a long and narrow wine growing country, 4300 km long and on average 175km wide ,bordered by the Pacific ocean on the west and the great Andes mountains on the east. I am also the 5th largest wine exporter in the world, have a great diversity of landscapes to offer my vines and am committed to positioning our wine industry as a leader in sustainability by the year 2012, I am Chile.
Joining us on the show this week to tell us all about this amazing wine growing region from the hottest news, wine developments and initiatives are two winemakers from two wineries. Firstly, from VIÑA MAIPO ,a prestigious wine producer with a rich history, founded in 1948, focusing on the premium product portfolio, winemaker Max Weinlub, with a passion for Syrah.
