Oh so Fab Pajama Party was…oh so fab! Raises $15,000 for the Daval Hospice
The evening was a stupendous success with a few hundred ladies dressed in pjs and fine lingerie, from animal prints, to sexy bustiers, boxers and pignoirs, strutting their stuff walking the catwalk all for a great cause.
The fundraiser, held at the White Oaks Resort and Conference Centre www.whiteoaksresort.com in support of the Daval Hospice www.davalhospice.ca had all the ingredients, the perfect recipe for the perfect party, with great food, wine and entertainment including a number of Niagara Falls finest firefighters; nothing like a man in uniform, ready to offer a helping hand.
There was plenty of shopping too… on ”Rodeo Drive” with Canadian fashion icon Brian Bailey www.BrianBaileyDesign.com dazzling the ladies with his designs and show stopping prices, including his line of make-up as well. Maryellen Howe, make-up stylist to the stars gives Georgia a touch up just before its all about to begin.
Loads of enthusiastic vendors showcasing their wares including another Canadian founded company Newtopia for optimal healthly eating according to your “genes”, www.newtopia.com , including your passion business coach Kim Snyder, www.ebiz-ebs.com, unique jewellery designs and stunning pieces www.bobbyandsally.com, just to name a few. We were also offering a selection of The Wine Ladies’ accessories of which we were donating $5.00 to the Daval Hospice for every Ravi sold, orders will be honored to end of August, if interested here is the link to our instant wine refresher; https://thewineladies.com/shop-the-wine-ladies?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=19&category_id=6.
One of the many highlights of the evening was the “photo-opp” set up for all the ladies. A double-bed flanked in hot pink and zebra print complete with an oversized teddy bear inviting the ladies to release the “diva” in you, or ham it up either solo or with your fellow pj friends. Sandra Ozkur www.ozkur.ca professional photographer definitely had the magic touch, making you feel comfortable and brought the diva out in all of the ladies.
We’d like to thank Mary at Mistero Lingerie in Mississauga, for helping “un-leash the diva in us” with the incredibly crafted fine lingerie we sported for this awesome fundraising event. Mary, I loved the comfort, and the hot pink lace in the lingerie, it paired perfectly with the colour scheme of the evening.Susanne rocked in brilliant red, not a diva colour at all, simply gorgeous. It ‘s been less than a week since the pajama party and we learned from Tara Colaneri,www.Colaneriwines.com who sits on the Board of Directors for the Daval Hospice, and was also the organizer of the event , that donations are still coming, so the exact figure raised is still not available. But Tara tells us, the total is approaching $15,000 so a huge congrats to Tara and to all the other volunteers who helped make this such a resounding success. Our hats go off to the White Oaks Resort and Conference Centre in Niagara Falls for their generous support and with that we bid you all a good night.
