We enjoyed a wine tasting of the ‘Le Grand Vin’ 2006 and ‘Le Grand Vin’ 2007 as well as a component sampling of varietals that make up the award winning ‘Le Grand Vin’. Osoyoos Larose Le Grand Vin is made from the classic Bordeaux varietals that are grown in the unique terroir of British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley.

This is a superior merlot-dominant blend that shows rich, dense flavours, but not at the expense of balance and structure. There’s a load of complexity in the fruit, excellent fruit-acid balance, and still a good grip from the ripe tannins.

Give it a couple of years, and drink it in the 2013-2018 window  /downloadablefiles/The Wine Ladies 2011-05m-11 – BC – Okanagan.wmv
