Each year, the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) draws thousands of international filmmakers, stars and media to Toronto and for this years festival (Sept. 10-19), The Wine Ladies are entering the exciting world of web TV.

Street in Yorkville – ground zero for the film festival – and have conducted brief interviews with the stars, filmmakers, writers, international VIPs and media representatives discussing favourite wines, what wines go with which movies at this years’ festival, favourite movies about wine (e.g.: Bottle Shock, Sideways, A Walk in the Clouds, Under the Tuscan Sun) – the ultimate in wine TV! Celebrity guests are invited to enjoy a glass of wine with The Wine Ladies.

Taking a break to join us on the couch one of the stars of the film SUCK is Paul Anthony. Paul plays “Tyler” the lead guitarist in the fictitious rock’ n’ roll band, The Winners. Having never played any instrument before, he studied tirelessly to learn the seven original songs for Suck. Paul has acted in more than 30 film and television productions, including Blade Trinity and the Emmy-Award winning Traffic. In 2004, he received rave reviews for his starring role in the gritty feature film, Eighteen, opposite Alan Cumming. He most recently starred in Blaine Thurier’s A Gun To The Head, which is also premiering at this year’s TIFF. He currently produces and hosts his own cable access television series in Vancouver – Paul Anthony’s TALENT TIME.

Paul took a moment from his busy schedule to enjoy a glass of Jackson -Triggs Syrah, talk about his 2 movies and his experience of hanging out with the rock legends!
