Port wine is produced in a carefully delineated part of the Douro region that extends 100km east of the city of Porto covering an area of 74,130 acres. The vineyard is essentially strewed on terraces, classified according to a quality range that considers the soils’ quality, the sun exposure and the varieties of grapes.

Senhora Do Convento produces sensuous red table wines from three claasic Portugeuse varietals: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz. All which are grown on the property. Our table wines are aged in French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks at the winery.
