Meet the “Godfather of Zin”, rebel winemaker Joel Peterson of Ravenswood.
The afternoon soared with fine wine, awesome food and incredible music. We attended the Wine Rock Ravenswood Experience in Toronto at the cool venue 99 Sudbury.
Attending was Joel Peterson, rebel winemaker, and reputed “Godfather of “Zin” (Zinfandel). Founder of Sonoma Valley’s Ravenswood winery treated us to a fabulous line up of his award winning Zins.

Celebrity BBQ Chef Rob Rainford worked his magic with barbecue finger foods, sensational creations including quail, lamb, Jerk Chicken and much more, all paired with the variety of Peterson’s wines.
Canadian rock star Ian Thornley entertained the crowd with an exclusive debut of songs from his up coming acoustic CD. All the high notes were hit for everyone of our senses on this sunny, engaging summer afternoon.

Dear Jason,
It is a “pipette” a slim tube-like product made with glass or food-safe material, about between 12-24 inches long, used to draw a small amount of wine from a cask or other fermentation container.
