Lilly Pulitzer started about 50 years ago in Palm Beach Florida. The dresses famously took off when Jackie Kennedy took to Lilly’s shirtdress. She was photographed around the world. Jackie knew style. We all know that and the brand took off! And most deservedly so! We are all set to travel in style with our suitcases stocked with both casual and dressier pieces. They will take us to the beach, the sea, the culinary scene and much more!

A picture is worth a thousand words they say.  And celebrity stylist/photographer Korby Banner, of Style by Jury will be setting up his cameras for the latest PIE Bookazine photoshoot. A high end fashion lifestyle magazine captures the essence. Excitement and enticement of beautiful, elegant, uniquely playful places and people, we do not want to disappoint as we are a part of telling the tale of Barbados and the incredible Bajan lifestyle.

So whether swimming with turtles, steering a J sailboat or simply sunbathing on the beach at the luxurious  Saint Peters Bay Luxury Resort and Residences, Barbados  sipping a rum cocktail, we will bring you the magic of Barbados through the still lens of Korby Banner and the moving, of Duck Blue Productions, our videography.

We’ll be “liming” with the Bajans… be sure to join us!

P.S. In case you were wondering, the concept of “liming” encompasses any get together sharing food and drink, telling of tales, jokes and stories. As long as the activity has no explicit purpose beyond just hanging out.

Now that last part is the nub. While the term might have its origins in Trinidad, the pass time (and don’t tell me it should be pastime) is truly Caribbean.
