We turn our attention next to Oregon, which to many is synonymous with Pinot Noir, that fickle varietal, the most planted in the state at which Oregon excels! But there’s more! Now considered a world class wine region, Oregon has 18 approved wine growing regions, over 600 wineries and 900 vineyards, and the state is known for high quality award winning wines.
To fill us in more and share with us the story and wines of a very special, pioneering winery founded in 1971 called Sokol Blosser, we chat with Michael Kelly Brown the V.P. of Consumer Sales. Sokol Blosser is family owned and operated, organically farmed winery located in the Willamette Valley, having established themselves as a true legacy Oregon winery.
To the Okanagan Valley in BC, one of the world’s most northerly wine making regions. The Okanagan Valley is BC’s premier wine making region and is consistently ranked among the world's best at international competitions. Joining us Mason Spink, Mason is the winemaker for a very cool and exciting, award winning winery, not only for their awesome wines but also as a destination as voted by TRIP Advisor as the area's Top Wine Destination. The winery is Dirty Laundry and do they have a story! Get the "dirt" on Dirty Laundry and what makes them and the Okanagan so fabulous.
